Factorylite insulation is a non-combustible flexible fiberglass insulation. It is a high quality glasswool insulation reinforced with a woven aluminium foil backing. The fiberglass used in factorylite is the same as think pink aerolite, only it hasn’t been dyed pink, it’s yellow in colour.

The product is light weight, comes in roll form, resilient and safe to use on residential and commercial buildings. The foil faced side of factorylite adds the strength of the product.

Is Factorylite non-combustible?

All fiberglass products are non-combustible, they are made from spun strands of glass that have an extremely high melting points. They are not treated with harmful chemicals to achieve a fire retardant status for a few month to a year.

Fiberglass holds it fire retardant properties for as long as you have the product installed. Fiberglass products are used in boilers, furnaces and just about anywhere that high temperatures are needed to be achieved. Fiberglass boasts the highest temperature resistance compared to all the other insulation products.
